I forgot my Okta password and can’t sign in to Academy/Ascent. How do I reset it?
If you need to reset your password, click “Need help signing in?” and choose ”Forgot password?” You’ll receive an email from noreply@okta.com with a reset link that will be valid for a single-use.
I don’t have an Okta account. How do I get one?
Go to zscaler.com/zscaler-academy and click "Register Now" to sign up for an account.
I have an existing account but I'm no longer employed or changed companies. How do I update my email?
You'll need to register for a new account at zscaler.com/zscaler-academy. Once you've verified your email and gotten into Academy, email training@zscaler.com and we'll merge your accounts.
I'm a federal/public sector customer. How do I get access?
We're working on launching a platform for federal and public sector but in the meantime, please continue to login to Zero Trust Academy (Absorb) at https://zscaler.myabsorb.com/.
Earning and Maintaining Certifications
What is the process to become certified?
Completing the eLearning content is optional but you will need to pass a certification exam to become certified. We recommend completing the eLearning content if you did not pass your exam or are recertifying as the content may have been updated for product releases.
How long do certifications last?
Certifications are now valid for 3 years. Any existing certificates that you had have been updated to include an extra year of validity.
How do I recertify?
You will receive an email notification 60 and 30 days before your certification expires with recertification instructions. You'll need to retake the exam and pass successfully to gain recertification. *Note: For professional level, certifications labs are not required to recertify.
What happened to the ZCCA and ZCCP certifications?
We've updated the naming on all of our certifications. You will see the former naming in the path descriptions but the changes are as follows:
- ZCCA-IA is now ZIA Administrator
- ZCCP-IA is now ZIA Professional
- ZCCA-PA is now ZPA Administrator
- ZCCP-PA is now ZPA Professional
- ZCCA-ZDX is now ZDX Administrator
Some of the paths/courses say archived and I can't register. Why?
Our new ZIA Administrator (2022) path now covers the same content that the ZIA Security Specialist and ZIA TAC Associate paths did. Additionally, our new ZPA Administrator (2022) path covers the same content that the ZPA TAC Associate path did. We've disabled registration for those three and the old ZIA/ZPA Administrator paths so you will now see Archived instead of Get Started. You should only see Archived if the path/course has been closed for registration.
Accessing Completed Learning and Sharing Certificates
Where can I see my completed courses?
You can find all enrollments and completions by clicking your profile image in the top right corner and selecting “My Profile.”
Who should I email if my certification and learning history are incorrect?
For Public Sector customers, all completions from Absorb will be available by the end of March 2023. Please email training@zscaler.com if you see any discrepancies after that.
For all other customers who were previously migrated to Academy, please email training@zscaler.com with the specifics around the course, exam, or certification.
How do I access my certificates to share with my company or on LinkedIn?
You can access your certificates by clicking your profile image in the top right corner and selecting "My Profile." In the Registrations section, you’ll see completed courses and be able to click View Certificate to download or Add to Profile to share to LinkedIn.
Viewing and Redeeming Training Credits
How do I view my Training Credits?
Access your profile page by clicking on your profile image and selecting "My Profile." Training Credit codes and their expiration dates will display below your name and email.
How do I redeem my Training Credits?
Copy the Training Credit code from your profile page (we suggest using codes in order of expiration). Once you're on the course you wish to purchase, click "Register" and paste the code into the code section. Click "Apply," then "Review and Pay" to complete the purchase. Please note, you will not receive an email receipt for training credit purchases.
Zscaler Ascent Points & Badges
What is Zscaler Ascent?
Zscaler Ascent is our learning engagement platform. The site is designed to reward and recognize you for completing training, engaging in enablement activities, and sharing feedback. You can see how you rank amongst your peers and redeem points for prizes.
I have an Okta account but I'm unable to sign in to Ascent.
Zscaler Ascent access is limited to current Zscaler customers and partners. If you are a customer or partner and don't have access, please email training@zscaler.com.
I have completed certifications in the past but I don’t see any badges or points in Zscaler Ascent?
Zscaler Ascent is for rewarding future activities. As you complete recertifications in Academy, your badges will appear in Ascent.
What do I do if I’m missing badges in Zscaler Ascent?
Email training@zscaler.com to confirm if all learning activities were marked complete and granted points and badges.
Why do the points on my profile and my points on the leaderboard not match?
Your points on the leaderboard represent your lifetime points, or the total number of points you've earned since joining Ascent. The points next to your profile show how many points you have that are available to redeem rewards.
I redeemed a reward but haven't received it yet?
It can take a couple hours for the reward to process. Email training@zscaler.com to confirm your prize is on its way.
I don’t see any rewards in my currency. How do I redeem my points?
There is a reward available called ‘Don't see an available reward? Redeem this one!’ which will email Zscaler training to create a custom gift card reward for that partner.

I'm a student and I'm interested in the Zero Trust Career Program. How do I get started?
