Zero Trust Branch (EDU-280) eLearning Course
Zscaler Zero Trust Branch (EDU-280) provides technical training for deploying Zscaler Zero Trust Branch. Learn to replace legacy routing with identity-based security, eliminate branch attack surfaces, and secure IoT/OT traffic using a direct-to-cloud architecture for resilient branch connectivity.
The Zscaler Zero Trust Branch (EDU-280) course focuses on modernizing branch office connectivity by moving from traditional, hardware-centric routing and legacy SD-WAN to an identity-based, zero trust architecture. By leveraging the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange, the training demonstrates how to provide secure, direct-to-cloud access for users and IoT/OT devices without extending the corporate network. This approach helps eliminate the branch attack surface and prevents lateral threat movement through granular segmentation and strict, identity-aware policies across the entire branch environment.
The curriculum covers the technical lifecycle of the solution, including automated device registration, high-availability (HA) clustering, and integration with ZIA and ZPA using IPSec, GRE, and App Connectors. Technical professionals will gain expertise in managing branch traffic with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. With a focus on operational excellence, the course also includes deep dives into network monitoring, analytics, and advanced troubleshooting using the platform CLI to help ensure a resilient, simplified branch.
