This course is designed to provide network engineers and security administrators with an introduction to the basics of cybersecurity and Zscaler Cyberthreat Protection. Topics covered will include the importance of cybersecurity, the different types of cyber threats, and how to utilize Zscaler products and capabilities including Malware Protection, Advanced Threat Protection, DNS and Firewall, Sandbox, Intrusion Prevention System
The course begins by establishing why cybersecurity matters in today's increasingly connected and threat-rich digital landscape. Learners will gain a clear understanding of the evolving threat environment, exploring the different types of cyber threats including malware, ransomware, phishing, zero-day exploits, DNS-based attacks, and advanced persistent threats (APTs) and the potential impact these threats can have on organizations of all sizes.
From there, the course dives deep into how Zscaler's suite of security tools and capabilities can be leveraged to detect, prevent, and respond to these threats in real time.
